Overview

Starting in bustling Johannesburg, we explore the famous Soweto township and inspiring Apartheid museum. From there it's up to the Kruger National Park where you’ll see nature and wildlife at its best. We then head down the beautiful Garden Route, making our way to the oldest wineland region outside of Europe. Our final stop is the magnificent city of Cape Town, with its famous Table Mountain and resident beach penguins.

Day 1Arrive Johannesburg
We arrive in the bustling city of Johannesburg and make our way to the hotel where we’ll settle in.
Day 2Johannesburg
We start by visiting the vibrant and significant neighbourhood of Soweto, home to the world-class Apartheid museum. After this sobering history lesson you have the afternoon free to shop, explore or relax as you wish.
Day 3Kruger area
Today we head north to the renowned Kruger National Park. Make sure your camera is charged for the beautiful Bourke’s luck potholes and God’s Window view points along the way. After checking in to our safari lodge we go out on our first game drive to try spot the Big Five.
Day 4Kruger area
Today is dedicated to enjoying the wildlife of the Kruger as we go on two guided game drives through the park. Keep your eyes peeled!
Day 5Port Elizabeth
We finish our time in the park with one last sunrise game drive before flying to the coastal city of Port Elizabeth where we’ll start to head down the Garden Route. The afternoon is free time for you to enjoy.
Day 6Knysna
We make our way down the beautiful coast towards the lagoon town of Knysna - famous for the Knysna seahorse. Along the way we stop by the holiday town of Cape St. Francis as well as the Birds of Eden sanctuary in Plettenberg Bay.
Day 7Knysna
Today you have the choice of touring the Emzini township or visiting the Featherbed Nature reserve for a unique eco-experience. The afternoon is yours to enjoy this tranquil and peaceful town.
Day 8Skeiding Farm
We leave Knysna, enjoying the beautiful lush coastline on our way to Mossel Bay. Here you’ll be put to work on a working farm. Afterwards you’ll be rewarded and replenished with a hearty South African BBQ.
Day 9Stellenbosch
We continue our journey towards the winemaking mecca of Stellenbosch with a stop at Hermanus along the way. Perched on the cliffs above the Indian ocean this charming town is world famous for its whale watching.
Day 10Stellenbosch
You get to choose how you’ll explore the winelands. You can choose either a tour to the towns of Paarl and Franschhoek or do the Franschhoek hop on, hop off wine tram. Alternatively you can get active with a cycle tour around Stellenbosch, visiting three different wine estates.
Day 11Cape Town
We make the short drive to the magnificent city of Cape Town, with its iconic flat-top Table Mountain. We head to the Cape Point nature reserve, stopping off to meet the adorable penguins that live on Boulders beach.
Day 12Cape Town
Today is dedicating to exploring the city center of Cape Town with its colonial history and diverse cultures. We take the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain for magnificent views of Table Bay.
Day 13Cape Town
You have the final day of the tour to yourself. Our guides can give you a number of different recommendations and you can stock up on any last minute gifts and souvenirs.
Day 14Depart Cape Town
We catch the morning flight out of Cape Town International, making our way back home after an amazing time in South Africa.
